1. Overview
This privacy policy applies to the OKN Drum iOS app from My Call Bag LLC. The app has no registration, advertising, or third-party analytics. We do not receive your camera images, face data, or recordings. The optional recording feature processes personal images on your device as described below.
2. TrueDepth and Face Data Collected
When you enable eye-movement recording and grant camera permission, the app uses the front camera and ARKit face tracking on supported devices, including the TrueDepth camera. It processes camera frames, face position and orientation, and left/right eye positions to locate the eyes. On other supported devices, Apple Vision detects face and eye landmarks locally. Camera images may include the face and surroundings. The app does not save or export raw depth maps, face meshes, facial-expression coefficients, or biometric identity templates.
3. Purpose and Use of Face Data
Face and eye positions keep the live camera preview and recorded image centered on the eyes. The app records a video of visible eye movements alongside the moving OKN drum for later review, documentation, teaching, and demonstration. This is the only use of this face data; there are no other planned uses. It is not used to identify people, authenticate users, advertise, profile users, or train AI models. Recording does not capture microphone audio.
4. Storage, Retention, and Deletion of Face Data
Face-tracking values are processed in runtime memory and are not written to persistent storage or transmitted. Memory is released as runtime objects are released or the app closes. Recording creates temporary eye-view, drum, and combined video files in the app’s private temporary directory. iOS may purge these files; the app does not currently impose a fixed deletion period or remove them immediately after saving. Deleting the app removes these local temporary files. With Photos permission, the completed video is saved to your Photos library and remains until you delete it there, including from Recently Deleted for immediate permanent removal. Deleting the app does not delete videos already saved to Photos.
5. Disclosure and Sharing of Face Data
The app does not upload or share face data or recordings with My Call Bag LLC, advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties, and we do not store them on our servers. After a video is saved to Photos, your own iCloud Photos, backup, or sharing settings may cause Apple or a service you choose to store or receive it. Those copies are controlled by your settings and the relevant service’s retention and deletion practices.
6. Your Choices and Other Local Data
Recording is optional. You can use the drum without camera access, stop recording with the video control, and revoke camera or Photos access in iOS Settings. Obtain permission from anyone you record. App preferences, purchase status, and custom image sets you select are stored locally. Custom image sets can be deleted in the app; deleting the app removes its local settings and image sets. Device backups may retain local settings and custom images according to your backup settings. Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple StoreKit under Apple’s privacy practices; we do not receive your payment-card details.
